The Details Phase
Your developed design is finalized. Everyone loves and understands how the floor
plans work and what the renovation will ultimately look like.
This phase involves creating several documents that
convey more information and critical details for a builder to use to estimate
your construction costs.
Technical and engineering issues are resolved. Building code requirements are complied
with. Site limitations and zoning
restrictions are understood and complied with.
A typical price/bid drawing set can contains the following items:
Cover sheet
Site plans
Floor plans
Foundation plans
Demolition plans
Framing plans
Roof plan
Elevations and sections
Electrical and lighting plans
Interior views
Special conditions details
The consultants who may be required include:
Structural engineer
Site surveyor
Civil engineer
Electrical engineer
Mechanical engineer
Your documents now exist, so you can have your builder price
